Design creates culture.

Culture shapes values.

Values determine the future.

 Live from the stage/my workspace

Frances Brown

Hi! My name is Frances. I'm sixteen years old and have enjoyed photography for about six years. I've lived in Singapore, England, and the United States and have travelled to over twenty different countries including Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, France, and Australia. Besides photography and design, I enjoy hanging out with friends, exploring abandoned places, drinking coffee, and listening to music.

In the past few years, I've been more serious about photography and have developed a passion for both street photography and portrait photography. To me, photography is a way I can express myself creatively and showcase different cultures through photos. I currently own a Nikon d750 and hope to continue taking photos as I travel around the world.

I also enjoy graphic design and have developed skills in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Premiere Pro. I have designed t-shirts, posters, and banners for my school ICS (Singapore) as well as the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 yearbook. I've also interned with Metaleap Creative, a design company in Atlanta whose work is extraordinary and truly inspiring. Check them out at

Thank you to Rebecca Shang, Carissa Gozali, Amy Rambo, Diane Brown, Rebecca Lafferty, Andy Fogarty, International Community School (Singapore), and my amazing parents for helping me pursue my passion in photography.
